This policy describes how Dating Shark uses information collected through this website, book purchases, and customer support.
Information we collect
When you buy the book, Stripe collects your name and email on its payment page. We store those details with the order reference, payment status, amount, currency, a random purchase-browser identifier, and checkout acceptance. If you verify your purchase email or access the admin, the verification provider supplies an identifier and verified email address. We record when a book download is first served. Support messages contain the name, email, topic, order reference, and message you submit.
How we use it
We use this information to process purchases, verify purchases using the original purchase browser or the verified checkout email, provide fresh download links, answer support requests, prevent misuse, keep purchase records, and resolve payment questions or disputes. Support information is not used to add you to a marketing mailing list.
Payments and service providers
Stripe processes payment information on its payment pages. This website does not collect or store your full card number. Cloudflare Access sends email verification codes for recovering purchases and accessing the admin. Our hosting uses Cloudflare Workers, D1 storage for site records, and private R2 storage for the book. These providers process information needed to operate their services under their own terms and privacy policies.
Cookies, storage, and security
A secure purchase cookie recognizes the browser used for checkout for up to 24 hours. The verification provider uses its own session cookies when you verify an email. The book is stored privately. Download links expire after 15 minutes and require the original purchase session or the verified-email session that created them. Access controls reduce unauthorized access but cannot prevent a buyer from sharing a file after download. Please keep passwords and payment credentials out of support messages.
Retention and your requests
We retain purchase and support records as needed to provide access, handle requests and disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can ask about access, correction, or deletion of your information using Contact Us. We may need to verify your identity and retain information that we are required or permitted to keep.
